Michaele Hannemann   Michaele (“Michelle”) is a classically trained musician that began teaching piano and voice lessons in the Chicago area in 2009. When she moved to Saint Simon’s Island in 2012 to continue coaching private students that had moved here, she was also hired as the Middle School Music Teacher at Frederica Academy for the 2012-2013 school year.  Michaele has been performing professionally (live & in the studio) as a keyboard player and vocalist for 19 years. She’s played a variety of genres in different bands like rock & blues, top 40 pop & dance music, funk & jazz; and has substantial experience singing pop/rock, blues/soul, musical theater & choir music. Willis Gore   Willis is a 29 year old from McIntosh County with over 18 years of experience playing the guitar. While guitar is his forte, he also offers instruction on Bass, Mandolin, Ukulele, and Banjo. In the past, Willis has played in several local bands such as Local Shakedown, Honey Blue, and Soul Gravy, but is currently a member of the regionally touring band Bonnie Blue from Jacksonville, FL. Before moving to St. Simons Island in 2012 Alongi worked out of Chicago focusing the majority of time in studio session work, club/theater shows and festivals. There, he taught music at The Allegro Academy of Music for 5 years conducting private lessons to students ranging from beginner to pro. Marc Andress   Marc Andress’s seminal guitar background began at a very young; born with a guitar in his hand! His family is rooted in music. Marc’s uncle played with country legends to the likes of Hank Williams Sr., Ray Price and the list goes on from there! Guitar became a daily part of his life around the age of 7. From there, Marc began teaching guitar to a friend’s younger brother upon request; there the spark ignited!  Marc has set up several successful music academia's for public school programs including the guitar class at Glynn Middle School, a magnet school for the fine arts. Also for 5 years, Marc taught guitar at City Music in Historic downtown Brunswick. Upon Graduating Cum Laude from Armstrong Atlantic University, Marc made a leap of faith creating and opening Saint Simons Music. He has been teaching at Saint Simon’s music now for nearly 8 years. Andrew Alford   Andrew is a proficient guitar, bass, banjo, and mandolin player native to the Golden Isles. He obtained his Bachelor of Science from the College of Charleston in 2006. While in Charleston, he spent a significant amount of time in the live music scene. After moving back to The Golden Isles from South Carolina, Andrew taught as a Golf Professional with Sea Island Company for six years. Andrew has played live music on and off for the past 16 years, and is currently the guitarist for the local jazz band  Tonic Blue . Andrew has a passion for music theory as well as ear training and improvisation. He believes in a balanced approach to learning music involving the combination of these three principles. Andrew Alford

Robin Saxon

Robin is an active ensemble violinist and teacher from Columbia, South Carolina.  She currently plays with the Aiken Symphony Orchestra of Aiken, South Carolina, and has received teacher training in the renowned Suzuki violin method.  She has served as section leader of the Lake Murray Symphony and Palmetto Chamber Orchestras of Columbia, and has performed original music and classical masterworks in concert as part of the Epiphany Concert Series.

Her violin journey began at age 11 in public school orchestra, and has led to a lifelong passion for playing and teaching.  In high school Robin performed with the Richland District 2 Honors Orchestra, which performed at New York's Carnegie Hall. She has also enjoyed playing in local nightclubs with indie and experimental rock bands.  She is enthusiastic about playing music from a wide variety of genres, and is committed to sharing her knowledge and experience with students in a positive, fun environment.

Benjamin Silva

Benjamin is a self taught guitarist native to the Golden Isles. He taught guitar lessons at City Music in Brunswick, GA for 6 years in the mid 2000’s. He has played in a variety of bands and venues for the past twenty years. Benjamin is committed to the individual and their unique approach to learning. Coming from a family and extended family of musicians, he knows that everyone’s approach to learning music is unique to the individual. Keeping lessons fun and simple, setting a pace that is comfortable for the student, and stacking simple concepts upon simple concepts to achieve greater and more complex results is the foundation of his teaching style. Benjamin is excited to teach lessons again and to share something he is passionate about.

Patrick Langley

Patrick Langley was born and raised in Macon, Georgia, the song and soul of the South, having a great impact on his musical journey.  His journey began at the age of three, taking piano lessons and singing in the church choir.  Patrick began to play the trumpet at the age of ten and quickly excelled, participating in musical groups in and outside of school.  He sought opportunities to perform with groups including the Macon Symphony Orchestra and as an opening act for The Count Basie Orchestra.  Patrick has since performed across the U.S. in various groups, focusing on jazz and improvisation.  As a private instructor, Patrick has developed multiple teaching methods for the trumpet based on different styles and techniques, welcoming students of all skill levels and ages.
